  2. I guess it could be a fire hazard to have a lot of papers in your house, but maybe they see all the trash and papers and it makes them afraid that they could end up that way too. Or else they’re insecure and they just want a reason to look down on someone else.

  6. I do not hate hoarders I just have very little patients for them. My parents are hoarders and although I comprehend that it is a mental illness I find it very frustrating that they refuse to get help. They subjected me to their filthy, hazardous mess when I was growing up and they continue to live in it. My mother is hostile and resentful toward me and my sister because we have managed to escape that hell and provide better for our children.
