Is he trying to mislead consumers?
We have all been warned to protect out Social Security #, bank accounts#, credit cards etc. We get notices when our personal information is breached. But you never really think about protecting your name. Did you even know you could buy your name? You know there are other people with your same name. But why would you need to protect your name? Recently, a business owner, who has the same type of business I own, purchased my name online. I do not know his intentions. Why would he do this? Why buy my name for a web addresses that can be attached to anything? He now has the Power to attach his advertisements to MY name that he purchased for whatever purpose he wants.
